State exam NT2

Would you like to pass the State Exam NT2?
Groups for this purpose start twice a year. You can inscribe for Programme I or Programme II. Courses start at European language level A2. If you haven't got that yet, you can follow beginners courses.

If you wish to start DIRECTLY lessons for the State exam without passing the inburgering (civil integration) first, that's also possible. Contact me if that's your wish.

Do I need Programme I or II?
Programme I (level B1) is enough if you want to follow studies at an mbo school or have a simple job. If you want to study at hbo (Bachelor's degree) or University (Master's degree) or have a higher job, you'll need Programme II (level B2).

Can I also join the courses if I don't want to pass the exam?
Of course you can. We finish the courses with a State exam in the lesson. If you pass that, you'll receive a certificate that states that you know Dutch on the level of B1 or B2. If you want to pass the exam officially, Sophia can help you to inscribe for the official exams which are mostly in Arnhem; the costs of the exam are extra. On the IB-groep website you'll find all the information (in Dutch).

How often are the lesson?
There are 20 lessons of 3 hours each (60 hours totally) until level B1. Another 20 lessons of 3 hours each until level B2. The lessons are two evenings per week from 19:00 until 22:00. The courses can also find place during day time. There are maximum 8 students in a class and the lessons are in a professional class room. You are expected to make homework about 12 hours per week. Two chapters of the book are explained in every lesson.

What are the costs?

• The course fee is € 400,00 until B1 (60 hours)
• The book De Tweede Ronde costs about € 88,00
  
  
• The course fee from B1 until B2 is € 400,00 (60 hours)
• The book De Finale costs about € 25,00

You will have e-mail support. This means that you can e-mail me any questions you have about the lessons and I'll answer them. You pay the fee in advance.
